This series has been a great journey drawing inspiration from the enigmatic style of Banksy while infusing it with my own personal touch. I invite you to step into a realm where color and form intertwine, inviting you to explore the depths of imagination and emotion in this collection of abstract wall art pieces that transcend the boundaries of conventional expression. This is more than just a series of art—it’s a testament to the power of creativity to spark dialogue, evoke emotion, and transcend the boundaries of perception.

In the first piece of the wall art series, a captivating abstract composition unfolds across the acrylic board, measuring 61cm x 61cm. Drawing inspiration from the thought-provoking style of Banksy while infusing it with a personal creative touch, this artwork serves as a profound exploration to abstract art.
At first glance, muted colors dominate the canvas, evoking a sense of somber reflection. Yet, amidst the subdued tones, flashes of bright orange and vivid blue pierce through the gloom, like beacons of hope. These vibrant bursts of color serve as reminders of the resilience and creativity that thrive even in the most challenging environments.
In the center of the composition, a ladder extends upwards, seemingly leading into a void or hole. This enigmatic symbol invites viewers to contemplate the concept of escape or transcendence, suggesting that despite the constraints of societal norms and urban decay, there are always pathways to freedom and renewal for those willing to seek them.

Thought on the go, freeing myself up to do what I could get out what I was looking at the man on the horse Don Quixote on his horse looked at the book cover and I put it in my painting. Can you spot the hidden Guinea Pig, chicken and hen house?

The culmination of this captivating series is embodied in the third and final piece, presented on a 61cm x 61cm acrylic board.
This abstract piece with similarities to the other two has a much bigger story and if you have not already guessed, it celebrates England winning the Cricket World Cup Final against New Zealand in 2019.
I have always had a passion for cricket, playing as a lad, then becoming an umpire for Dorset under 15’s and following the latest cricket news at any given time. So to see England finally win their first World Cup and in the most astonishing super over way (cricket’s equivalent to the penalty shootout) was a joyous and thought provoking moment that deserved a place in this series. Unlike other pieces in this series that arrive purely through my imagination this one is a moment in time where fact meets canvas.
